THE CARE RITUAL FOR YOUR WELLY

Every Welly is made from 100% Raw Hair, carefully selected for its outstanding quality, softness and longevity.

Like your own hair, it reveals its full beauty when cared for with attention. A few simple steps are enough to preserve its shine, softness and natural movement over time.

Washing

We recommend washing your Welly every 10 to 15 wears, or whenever the hair needs it.

Choose a quality shampoo, sulphate-free or not, depending on your preference. Gently wash the hair in lukewarm water, lathering the shampoo without rubbing the lengths, then rinse thoroughly to remove any residue.

The goal is to clean the hair while preserving its softness and natural balance.

Moisturising

After each wash, apply a conditioner or moisturising mask to nourish the hair fibre.

Leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

If needed, apply a few drops of a light oil, such as argan, jojoba or grapeseed oil, to the lengths only.

Natural hair appreciates the same care as the hair growing on your own head.

Drying

After washing, gently pat your Welly dry with a clean towel, never rubbing the hair.

Whenever possible, let it air-dry. This method preserves the full beauty of the hair fibre and the natural movement of the hair.

Once dry, your Welly can be worn as is or styled however you like.

Styling

Because it's made from natural hair, your Welly can be straightened, curled or styled in different ways.

We do recommend using a heat protectant before any heat styling.

To preserve the full realism of your Welly, we also recommend leaving the Signature Hairline in its natural state. Its texture and irregularities were specially crafted to recreate the look of a genuine textured hairline.

If you'd like to create curls without heat, choose gentle styling methods such as braids or soft rollers.

Storage

When you're not wearing your Welly, store it on a suitable stand or in its Maison Welly satin pouch.

Keep it in a clean place, away from dust, to preserve its beauty over time.
